A first-time candidate, Kenny moved to Reno 25 years ago on a scholarship to attend and play baseball for the University of Nevada, Reno.
Jay lives in Lakeridge with his wife Jennifer of 17 years and has two sons, Mason and Thomas. Jay owns and operates three Doughboys Donuts shops in Reno and Sparks. Jay gives his time and financial support to many local non-profit organizations, and he serves on the City of Reno Civil Service Commission, Reno Continental Little League’s Board of Directors, and is a Washoe County Sheriff Deputy Honorary Captain. Jay has also been recently recognized as PBS’ Extraordinary Local Business for doing good in the community.
